About this tool
Use Media Converter online
Upload a local MP4, MOV, AVI, MKV, WebM, MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A or OGG file, choose a supported output and download the converted result. Files are processed by Kivrum's dedicated FFmpeg service and automatically deleted. The interface runs in your browser and uses a disclosed server-side provider for core processing. It is designed for phones, tablets and desktop computers.
How to use it
- 1Drag and drop a supported file or select it from your phone or computer.
- 2Confirm the output format and choose 128, 192, or 320 kbps when creating MP3 audio.
- 3Start the job and follow the upload and FFmpeg conversion progress without leaving the page.
- 4The finished file downloads automatically. Temporary files are then removed from the conversion service.

Frequently asked questions
Which files can I use with Media Converter?
Kivrum accepts local MP4, MOV, AVI, MKV, WebM, MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A, and OGG files for the supported conversions shown in the workspace.
Where does the conversion happen?
The browser uploads the local file directly to Kivrum's dedicated media service. FFmpeg performs the conversion in an isolated temporary job directory; the Next.js application does not buffer the media body.
When are my files deleted?
The original is deleted immediately after conversion. The output is deleted after its download finishes, while cancelled, failed, abandoned, and undownloaded jobs are automatically removed within 30 minutes.
Which MP3 qualities are available?
MP3 conversions offer 128 kbps for smaller files, 192 kbps for a balanced result, and 320 kbps for higher audio quality.
Can I use the converter on a phone?
Yes. The workspace supports modern mobile and desktop browsers, although large files can upload more reliably over a stable Wi-Fi connection.
Does Kivrum keep the original filename?
The service uses random job directories and internal filenames. A sanitized version of the original name is used only for the downloaded result.
