Practical design tips
Make the message clear at small sizes
Lead with one idea
Use a short headline that stays understandable when the thumbnail appears in a compact feed.
Build strong contrast
Pair bright text with a dark outline or shadow, and check it against both the image and background.
Protect important content
Keep faces, products, and essential words inside the safe area, especially on vertical covers.
Preview the crop
Switch presets early. A composition that works at 16:9 may need a different image position at 9:16.
Local editing with optional provider processing
Ordinary image loading, canvas composition, text rendering, and PNG or JPG export happen on your device. Kivrum does not permanently store the design. Optional background removal is separate: it sends the original image to the configured provider only after you confirm and click the action.

Which social media sizes are included?
The editor includes 1280 × 720 YouTube thumbnails, 1080 × 1920 TikTok covers, 1080 × 1080 Instagram posts, 1080 × 1920 Instagram Reel covers, and 1200 × 630 Facebook post or link images.
Are ordinary thumbnail images uploaded?
No. Upload, composition, preview, and export happen locally in your browser. Only the optional background-removal action sends the selected original image to the configured provider after confirmation.
Can I export a transparent thumbnail?
PNG can preserve transparent canvas areas and transparent pixels in the uploaded image. JPG does not support transparency, so transparent canvas areas are flattened to white.
Does the preview match the downloaded file?
Yes. The same canvas rendering function draws the responsive preview and the full-resolution export, including text wrapping, background, image position, and styles.
Can I use custom fonts?
The initial editor uses safe system fonts available on the device. It does not fetch or upload third-party font files.
Is background removal automatic?
No. It runs only when you explicitly confirm and select Remove Background. Provider availability and account limits can affect the result.
